This call aims to fund research and/or innovation projects across the raw materials value chain. The projects should focus on enhancing access to raw materials while promoting circular economy practices, achieving sustainability, and minimising social and environmental costs. They should add value, innovate and contribute to industrial development. The thematic scope of the JTC draws on RAMP’s Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) and includes primary and secondary supply, design and production, and the use and reuse of products and components.

Financing description

Project duration and maximum budget

The maximum amount of requested funding per project is 300,000 EUR for a total period of 3 years.

Eligibility rules

All eligibility rules and criteria can be found in the PINT-MULTI regulations. This call is co-funded.

Forms to be submitted

Applicants to F.R.S.-FNRS funding must submit an administrative application on e-space within 5 working days after the general deadline of the RAMP call to be eligible . Please select the “PINT-MULTI” funding instrument when creating the administrative application.  

Admitted costs

For the administrative application on e-space, costs such as “Consumables”, “Travel”, and “Other” should all be included in the “operating expenses” category in the form.

Overhead costs

For “overhead” costs:

  • Operating expenses: up to 1% within the granted budget. This percentage should be included in the requested operating budget.
  • Personnel: up to 2% outside of the granted budget. This percentage will be paid upon reimbursement of expenses to institutions by the F.R.S.-FNRS.
