IGLO Summer Reception: an opportunity to discuss research and innovation within the EU

This year, the FNRS is co-chairing the IGLO network alongside the FWO. This network brings together research and innovation liaison offices from 29 countries. IGLO’s aim is to facilitate and strengthen the exchange of information and cooperation between its members, their national research systems and European institutions on issues related to research and innovation within the European Union, and in particular on the Framework Programme.

As is customary, IGLO will bring the academic year to a close with a Summer Reception at the Palais des Académies. This event will bring together key players in European research and innovation based in Brussels. It will be an opportunity to hear from Manuel Aleixo, an expert in the office of Ms Ekaterina Zaharieva, European Commissioner for Start-ups, Research and Innovation, as well as Maria Leptin, President of the European Research Council (ERC), and to ask them your questions. It will also be an opportunity, following the official session, to engage in informal discussions with representatives from the European Commission and the European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA), as well as with representatives from European universities and research organisations.

If you would like to participate in this event, send a message to  ncp@frs-fnrs.be
